Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Arcos road trip companion app. By creating an account or using Arcos, you agree to these Terms.

Using Arcos

Arcos is a planning and trip-companion tool. Routes, drive times, campground and lodging information, prices, and availability are estimates gathered from third-party sources and may be inaccurate or out of date. Always confirm reservations, hours, conditions, and prices directly with the provider before you rely on them.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use.

Subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid plan. Subscriptions are sold and billed through your app store account and are managed by our subscription provider. Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your app store account settings; deleting the app alone does not cancel a subscription.

Use “Restore purchases” in Settings to re-apply a plan you already bought on this account.

Affiliate links

Arcos includes affiliate links to lodging and booking partners. If you book through them, Arcos may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We are not responsible for the products, services, prices, or policies of third-party sites.

AI features

The Ask assistant and other AI-assisted features generate suggestions that may be incomplete or incorrect. Treat them as starting points, not professional advice, and verify anything important before acting on it.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Arcos, attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the service, infringe others’ rights, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Disclaimers

Arcos is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. You are responsible for your own safety and decisions while traveling. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information is accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arcos and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any travel costs, losses, or missed reservations arising from your use of the service.

Termination and account deletion

You may stop using Arcos at any time and can permanently delete your account and data from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
